Extended Description: Able SeamanWilliam WATSON. Merchant Navy on S.S. Helmspey (Cardiff).
Died 11 February 1943 aged 27.

Son of John Henry and Esther Watson, Robin Hood's Bay, Yorkshire.
Brother of Henry (Harry) Watson Merchant Navy who died 15 August 1943 and is at rest in Maala Cemetery, Yeman.

Commemorated on the Tower Hill Memorial, London.

Commemorated on a family memorial in St Stephen’s Churchyard, Fylingdales, Yorkshire.
