- Gunner 792128, William MOTTERSHEAD, 10th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery died on the 12th September 1946 aged 34. He was the son of Thomas and Florence of Stafford and he was the husband of Cicily Maud also of Stafford. He is at rest in Stafford (New) Cemetery, Stafford, Staffordshire.
There is also a memorial plaque dedicated to him at the Burma Star Memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire. Next the fence which surrounds this memorial.
