Husband of Irene Agnes, nee Gowdy who he married 19 October 1917 in a church in Fitzroy Avenue, Belfast.
5 March 1915 promoted from 2nd to Temporary Lieutenant with Royal Irish Rifles.
4 October 1915 on active service in France
Demobilised June 1918
27 July 1920 applied for his medals. Postal address was 46 Cherryvalley Park, Knock, Belfast.
Died at his home in Belfast 1 May 1971.
At rest in Old Priory Churchyard, Holywood, County Down. (opposite the cemetery)
