Private 11625 William Joseph Gamston. 7 South Staffordshire Regiment Born 14 February 1898 died 23 November 1916. His father William was granted a war gratuity 20 March 1917 and his mother Elizabeth was granted a war gratuity 23 October 1919.He resided with his parents and sibling at 20 Bath Street, Wolverhampton. His brother Isaiah also fell in the Great War. Commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France also
commemorated on a Poppy Cross Memorial at the Armed Forces Memorial, National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire 11 November 2018
