KEENAN William John. Private 106312, Royal Army Medical Corps. Died 15th June 1918 aged 61 at Victoria Barracks, and he last lived at 19 George\'s Street, Belfast . He is at rest in Dundonald Cemetery, County Down, Northern Ireland.

He joined up the second time on the 15th January 1916 aged 56. He was a widower and he worked as a clerk. He had previously served with the (Looks like Royal Artillery) as gunner 1428 and also with the King\'s Own Scottish Borderers 1874-1888. He was living at 16 Lismore Street, Belfast with his daughter Annie who was his next of kin. His previous engagement with the army terminated on the 1st June 1903 and he was transferred to the army reserve. He was posted as Private 106312, 15th Coy, Home Hospital Reserve, Royal Army Medical Corps. He died in the hospital in which he was serving, the Military Hospital Belfast of Pneumonia on the 15th June 1918. His death report shows that he was working at this station as a fumigator and a mortuary attendant. He contracted the disease in this hospital. Report stamped, Central Military Hospital, Victoria Barracks, Belfast.
