William JARMAN.

Extended Description
William JARMAN. Ordinary Seaman 228101 Royal Navy on HMS Suffolk. Born 2nd September 1886 at Bristol, Somerset, enlisted 11th September 1903, occupation prior to enlistment, engineers steward. Died 11th December 1905 aged 19 of cerebral abscess caused by a middle ear disease at Royal Naval Hospital, Malta. In 1901 aged 14 he was living with his parents Charles and Eliza and his siblings at 41 Prince Street, Redcliff, Bristol. He was employed as a clerk to the National Sailors, Firemans Union, his father was the secretary to this union. His father was informed of his death on the 12th December 1905
