William James DIXON. Private 22090, 5th Grenadier Guards. Son of William and Mary Emma Dixon, of 12, Hadley Street, Ilkeston. Died at Brook War Hospital, Woolwich, 19 July 1916 aged 20 years. His mother was granted a war gratuity 23 October 1916, revised 15 September 1919.
At rest in Park Cemetery, Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
Brook War Hospital, Woolwich was formerly Brook General Hospital which was taken over for military use September 1915.
