Warrant Officer 357184 William Henry JEVONS. RAF Signals Section. Prisoner of War at Stalag IVB 1953-45. Born February 1904 died 24th November 1957. Son of John Henry and Rebecca Hope nee Browne. In 1911 he was living with his parents in married quarters at Cambridge Barracks, Portsmouth. His father was serving with the Gloucestershire Regiment as lieutenant, formerly Sergeant Major same regiment.
Wills and Admin, Ancestry. He lived at 28 Bampton Grove, Swindon, Wiltshire and died on date stated. His effects went to Florence Elizabeth Jevons, widow.
This memorial plaque is at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire
