Extended Description
HEMINGWAY Private S4/109534, 42nd Field Bakery Army Service Corps. Died 19 September 1915 aged 21 of dysentery in a hospital in Malta. Son of Jesse and Elizabeth Hemingway 15, Zion Street, Castle, Northwich, Cheshire. In 1911 still residing at 15 Zion Street with his parents and sister, occupation aged 17, errand boy. His mother and sister, Margaret were each granted a war gratuity 6 January 1916. His mother's was revised 28 July 1919. Commemorated on a family memorial in St Mary and All Saints Churchyard, Great Budworth, Cheshire.

HIGHET Alexander. Able Seaman, Clyde Z/2603, Royal Navy.(V.R)., Howe Battalion, R.N. Div. Died of dysentery, 19th September 1915, aged 24 years. He was the son of Robert and Margaret Roseweir Highet, of 30 Calibar Road, Barrhead, Glasgow. Born in Kilmarnock.

ARNOLD Ronald. Private 6/883, Canterbury Regiment, New Zealand Expeditionary Force. Died 18th September 1915, from sickness, aged 32 years. He was the husband of Florence Emily Arnold, of 18 Beaconsfield Street, Bedford, Bedfordshire.
