Extended Description: William GRIMSHAW. Able Seaman 207813 Royal Navy on HMS Humber. Born 10th September 1884 at Manchester, Lancashire, enlisted 15th January 1900, occupation prior to enlistment, errand boy. Died in Royal Naval Hospital, Malta 4th May 1915 aged 32 from compound fracture of left leg and shock, received on HMS Humber. Court of Inquiry found that no blame was attributable to anyone. Husband of Mrs. Sarah Ann Grimshaw, nee Doherty of 53 Burton Street, Rochdale Road, Manchester. At rest in Plot B Grave 240, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
