William Edgar ROSE. Private 10674, 2nd Scottish Rifles. Died 4th June 1914 aged 23. Native of Bath, Somerset, enlisted on the 1st January 1912 previous occupation shop porter. Son of William who was granted a way gratuity on the 26th June 1914. In 1911 aged 21 he was living with his father , mother Ellen Patience nee Culleford and siblings at 5 Brookleaze Park, Larkhall near Bath, Somerset occupation porter. Memorial erected by the Officers, Non Commissioned Officers and Men of B Company. At rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery, Malta. P1/R1/G5
Frank BOWDEN. Lance-Sergeant 2492, 1/8th Lancashire Fusiliers. Died at St Andrews Malta on the 2nd May 1915 from wounds received at Gallipoli Husband of Annie who was granted a war gratuity on the 2nd November 1915 revised on the 19th August 1919. In 1911 he was living with his wife Annie nee Bent at 4 Western Street, Pendleton, Salford Lancashire, occupation market police constable. On the 16th September 1907 at St Lukes, Weaste, Salford he married Annie Bent aged 26, spinster. She was living at 2 Elm Grove, Weaste, he was aged 22 living at 21 Falcon Street, police constable. Son of Robert and Mary Ann of (1901) 38 Doddington Street, Salford. At rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery, Malta PI/R1/G5

Edward Stanley GELL Private 4876 30th Company Royal Army Medical Corps died by drowning 20th May 1914. He was the son of Benjamin and Rebecca nee Smith who in 1901 were living at 26 East Cheap, Hull. In 1911 aged 20 he was stationed at Preston Military Barracks, Lewes Road, Preston, Brighton with the Royal Army Medical Corps. At rest in Pembroke Military Cemetery, Malta P1/R1/G5
