William Dundas Dooner. Lieutenant Colonel. C.M.G., D.S.O.,(Military) B.A.(T.C.D.) Late 87th Royal Irish Fusiliers and Royal Army Ordnance Corps. Died 28 August 1927 aged 51. At rest in St Patrick’s Church Drumbeg, County Antrim. in St Patrick Church Drumbeg, County Antrim.

Born 20 March 1876 in Mhow India to William Toke and Matilda Augusta Dooner.
1881 with his parents at South Camp, Aldershot Hampshire. His father was Captain in 108th Regiment of Foot. 1891 Boarder aged 15 at Bucklebury Berkshire home of Widow, Alice L Warriner. His mother was with him as a visitor. 1901 aged 25 at Royal Artillery Barracks, Green Hill Schools Respository Gun Park and Observatory as Lieutenant, Royal Irish Fusiliers.
9 October 1902 he married Emily Ernestine Senior at St Mary Church, Barnsley, West Riding, Yorkshire. Occupation soldier residing at 7 Priory Road, Sheffield.
1911 Captain, Royal Irish Fusiliers aged 35, at the Midland Grand Hotel, Euston Road, Kings cross London. He may have been in transit.
