Royal Marines on H.M.Landing Craft Gun (Large) 15 died 25th April 1943 when it sank in gale force winds off Pembroke coast at St Anne's Head aged 18. Thirtysix hands lost their lives. Son of Walter and Mary of Whitchurch. At rest in Whitchurch Cemetery, Shropshire
