Son of Oliver and Elizabeth North Gillard, of Badminton, Gloucestershire.

Commemorated at Plymouth Naval Memorial.

Commemorated on a family headstone at

Little Badminton St Michael and All Angels Churchyard, Gloucestershire.

His brother also died on active service -

Died 23 May 1940 aged 27
