BARNES, William. Pte 437863, 51st Edmonton Battalion, Canadian Infantry who was killed at Farnham, 14 May 1916, aged 24. He bravely answered his country's call. Thy will be done He enlisted at Edmonton, Canada on the 4th November 1915 and was working on a farm
He was born on the 15th March 1894 to Henry & Mary of Bosley, Staffordshire, and he is at rest in St Mary's churchyard, Bosley, Cheshire.
