Husband of Octavia May, nee Gillies who he married the 12 April 1905 parish of Templemore, County Londonderry, Ireland.
Died at Glynn Park, Carrickfergus, County Antrim, Northern Ireland 10th January 1956 aged 81 years.
At rest in Belfast City Cemetery, Northern Ireland

Educated at Belfast Royal Academical Institution, also at Queen’s College, Belfast.
He joined the R.G.A., (Antrim) 1909. Served throughout the Great War as Major.
1934 appointed Deputy Lieutenant for the City of Belfast.
On Friday 13 January 1956 the funeral took place at the City Cemetery after a service at 11-30am in St Nicholas Church Carrickfergus, County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
