Extended Description: William Alfred FITZGERALD. Able Seaman J9136 Royal Navy on HMS Edinburgh. Born 16th September 1894 at Southcourt London, enlisted 25th July 1910, occupation prior to enlistment, van guard. Died 2nd August 1914 aged 19 of pneumonia at Royal Navl Hospital, Malta. His brother was informed of his death 5th August 1914. At rest in Plot B Grave 232, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
