Extended Description: SLATER, Walter. Private 282332, 1/8th Lancashire Fusiliers died 16th October 1918 in France aged 26. He was the son of Walter and Mary of 43, Roe Street, Macclesfield. He is commemorated on a family memorial at Macclesfield Cemetery, Cheshire and he is at rest in Rocquigny-Equancourt Road British Cemetery, Manacourt, Somme, France
