Walter Henry Bell JACOB, D.S.O. Lieutenant Colonel, Royal Garrison Artillery. Born 13th June 1871, died 24th March 1925 aged 53 years, husband of Adah Louisa Jacob, born September 1877 and died 27th January 1966. He fought in the Boer War with the Army Ordnance Corps 1899-1902 His address in England was 9, St Francis Road, Folkstone. At rest in Ta Braxia Cemetery, Malta.
In 1900 he was the Chief Ordnance Officer stationed at St Helena. On the 27th July 1889 promoted to 2nd Lieutenant. 27th July 1892 to Lieutenant and Captain on the 13th September 1899.
