Walter GRIFFITHS

GRIFFITHS, Walter. Not able to find the correct record listed with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. He is/was, commemorated on a Poppy Cross on the W.W.1 War Memorial in the Garden of Remembrance, near the Holy Trinity Church, Stratford on Avon There is a Walter Leslie Griffiths/Griffith mentioned on a family tree. Born 1893 at Birmingham, Warwickshire and was killed in Belgium on the 14th April 1916 serving as Private 475377, Princess Patricia\'s Canadian Light Infantry (Eastern Ontario Regiment) and he is at rest in Menin Road South Military Cemetery.

@Bombardier Sadly I only have photographs of his brother Sydney, who also served in the Canadian Army, he did survive and died in Canada. I am researching my Irish and Canadian roots. I do have a picture of his war grave.
