Bombardier 106762 W. (Walter) CROWSON 108th Brigade, Ammunitions Colum, Royal Field Artillery killed in action 10th August 1917. His mother, Eliza was granted a war gratuity on the 15th January 1918 revised 8th December 1919. Born in 1895 at East Leake, Nottinghamshire to William and Eliza . In 1911 he was living with his parents at East Leake, occupation, Basket maker. (Wills and Admin. Ancestry.co.uk) He lived at Costock Road East Leake, Nottingham and died on the date stated. His effects went to his mother Eliza.
At rest in Wielt Je Farm Cemetery, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
