Wallace Mortimer Rooke. Captain, Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry died 8th October 1918 aged 28. One of the best. Son of Mortimer and Fredericka Charlotte Louisa Rooke, of The Ivy, Chippenham.
Mentioned in Despatches. Commemorated on a brass memorial tablet in St Andrew Church, Chippenham, Wiltshire. At rest in London Road Cemetery, Chippenham, Wiltshire.
