Sergeant W James. 1st Cheshire Regiment. Who died whilst on a shooting expedition near Khaderapett, Madras and was found on June 10 1895 aged 27

This tablet was erected by his brother Sergeants as a token of esteem.

Commemorated on a memorial in St Mary Without the Walls, Chester
