Extended Description: Vera Ethel BAILEY. Nurse VAD, G.S. Member.

Born 7 September 1896 at Northwood, Stoke on Trent to Joseph Isaac and Emily Annie Bailey.
1911 residing with her parents and siblings at 5 Smith Street, Hanley.
Joined the VAD 25 February 1917. Residence at time of enlistment, Fulford House, 5 Smith Street, Hanley, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. Nursed at Stoke on Trent War Hospital, Staffordshire. (North Staffordshire Royal Infirmary).
Left the VAD 24 January 1919 and died 1 February 1919
