Extended Description: Lance Corporal, 2425, 1/5th Gloucestershire Regiment, killed in action in France 27th August 1916 aged 20. Son of William and Leticia Emily of Queens Hill, Cirencester, Gloucestershire. He enlisted August 1914.

Commemorated on his parents memorial in Chesterton Cemetery, Cirencester and also on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France
