Timothy David ARMSTRONG

Captain 509849 Timothy David ARMSTRONG, 8th County Tyrone Battalion. He was walking with his fiancée along Park Road Ballynafeigh, South Belfast when he was shot in the back and killed by the UDA on the 16th January 1988 aged 29. He was due to marry in July . He served in the Falklands in 1983 with the Royal Irish Rangers. He was assumed to be Catholic but he was a Protestant. At rest in Tandragee Cemetery, County Armagh
