THOMSON John

Corporal 17037 John THOMPSON 13th Royal Irish Rifles, killed at Ypres 16th August 1917 aged 23. He was the son of Andrew and Elizabeth of 99, Moat Street, Donaghadee, County Down, Ireland. He was commemorated on this poppy cross at Donaghadee and District War Memorial at Donaghadee Northern Ireland. Photo taken June 2013. He is also commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium
