Private 241060, 1/6th North Staffordshire regiment who was killed by a shell at Bray, France, 21st April 1918 aged 34. Son of Thomas.

Commemorated on his father's memorial at St Michael and All Angels, churchyard, Church Broughton, Derbyshire and is buried at Divion Communal Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France
