Thomas FURLONG, Petty Officer 1st Class 184846, Royal Navy on HMS Egmont at Royal Naval Rifle Range Ricasoli. Born 24th March 1878 at Cosheston, Pembroke, Wales. Enlisted 17th July 1895, occupation prior to enlistment, labourer. Died 17th November 1910 aged 32 at Royal Navla Hospital, Malta from enteric fever and mediterranean fever and syphillis 2. It appears he was taken ill at the ranges. His memorial was erected by the Rifle Range Staff as a mark of esteem. His mother was informed of his death 17th November 1910. At rest in Plot B Grave 196, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
