- homas Maxwell BLAIR. Able Seaman J113613 Royal Navy on HMS Ambuscade. Born 16th September 1908 at Kilmory, Buteshire, Scotland enlisted 15th April 1925 on HMS Impregnable occupation prior to enlistment, platers apprentice. Died 23rd August 1929 aged 20 years on Hospital Ship Maine from Benign Tertian Malaria and haemorrhage into spleen. His mother was informed of his death.
