- Thomas Henry JONES. Mechanician 286249, Royal Navy on HMS Duke of Edinburgh. Born 3rd February 1877 at Wadsley, Yorkshire to Job and Emily nee Biggs of house 40 of Manor Sheffield. In 1891 he was living with his parents and siblings at Church Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. Enlisted 23rd October 1897, occupation prior to enlistment, Royal Marine Artillery, 6230. He enlisted in the RMA 2nd September 1896. Died 13th January 1914 aged 37 of a malignant growth. His sister was informed of his death 14th Janaury 1914.
