Thomas George Stanley GODWIN. Private 94094, 4th King's Liverpool Regiment. Gave his life for King and Country 4th October 1918 aged 20. He was the grandson of Thomas Godwin. Commemorated in his grand parents memorial in Thornbury Cemetery, Kington Lane, Thornbury, Gloucestershire. Foster Son of Thomas and Anna Elizabeth Godwin, of Crossways, Thornbury, Glos. His widow Emily was granted a war gratuity on the 20th March 1919 revised 10th February 1920. At rest in Mont Huon Cemetery, Le Treport, France.
