Known as Fred. Private 272136, Thomas Frederick SHELDON. 402nd Mechanical Transport Coy, Royal Army Service Corps, attached to the Canadian Corps, (on memorial killed in action in France) 5th November 1917 aged 36. Son of Frederick and Sarah Ann and husband of Lilian of 3. Scarisbrick Street, Southport, Lancashire. Native of Sheffield.
Commemorated on a family memorial in St Anne's Churchyard, Baslow Derbyshire. Buried in Oxford Road Cemetery, Belgium.
