Thomas Earl Gordon SCAIFE. M.C. Lieutenant 6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers) attached to 9th Squadron Royal Flying Corps. Missing and presumed to have been killed in aerial warfare at the Somme, 26th September 1916. Great Great Grandson of Thomas SCAIFE who is buried here. Son of Thomas Earle Scaife and Clara Scaife, of Burnholme, Robertson, Cape Province, South Africa.
Commemorated on a family plot in St Mary's Churchyard, Alne, Yorkshire Commemorated on the Arras Flying Services Memorial, France.
