The M1A2 Abrams by Mark Karvon

"The M1A2 Abrams" by Mark Karvon. The M1 Abrams is considered by many to be the best tank in the world today. Its 120mm gun makes it lethal, while it's composite armor keeps the crew very well protected. It has proven itself in battle during both Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. The M1 is powered by a 1500 HP gas turbine engine which makes the Abrams one of the fastest tanks in the field. Mark Karvon's depiction features the upgraded M1A2 version of the Abrams moving out across the desert sands of Iraq accompanied by an M2 Bradley. A pair of impressive A-10 "Warthogs" provide close air support.
