TATE Elizabeth (Bessie) and Evelyn

Civilian casualties of WW2

Bessie and Evelyn TATE killed as the result of enemy action over Belfast on the 16th April 1941.
Elizabeth (Bessie) was aged 16 and Evelyn was only aged 14.
There mother Ellen Ogle also died on the fateful night aged 25
They were the daughters of George Linden and Ellen Ogle Tate of 174, Manor Street, Belfast. They were all killed at 174, Manor Street. George was not at home at the time of the bombing.
They are at rest in a family plot at Dundonald Cemetery, County Down, Northern Ireland.
