Extended Description
Sydney CHAMBERS. Private M2/194487, 594th Mechanical Transport (Motor Transport) Army Service Corps who gave his life for his country 29 September 1917 aged 22 years. Son of George and Eliza Chambers. His father was granted a war gratuity 8 December 1917, revised 27 November 1919.

Commemorated on the Kimberley War Memorial and on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.

Commemorated on his parents' memorial in Kimberley Cemetery, Nottinghamshire
