Captain, 30th Battalion, Machine Gune Corps, killed in action near Ypres, 26th April 1918 aged 21 of Hertford College Oxford. Son of Reverend Joseph John Gabbett and Sarah of The Rectory, Wolverhampton. and Vicar on St Paul's Burton on Trent, Staffordshire 1902-1919. Commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, Belgium
