Stanley Herbert LANGFORD. Seaman LT/JX179949, Royal Naval Patrol Service on H.M.Trawler Sala died 2nd December 1940 aged 45. He was the son of Herbert and Elizabeth and he was the husband of Lilian Martha of Cleeve, Gloucestershire. (Wills and Admin, Ancestry.) He lived at Well Cottage, Cleeve, Somerset. His effects went to wife and Jones, Solicitors. You will note that Cleeve has been given as Gloucestershire and Somerset. There is a Bishop's Cleeve, not Cleeve in Glos. Cleeve in Somerset is correct)
