Private 63002, Stanley Green, 5th Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, formerly 5/124170, Training Reserve Battalion. Born 22nd December 1899, and baptised on the 29th January 1900 at Oxford Place Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, Park Lane in Leeds. He died of wounds 8th August 1918 aged 18 after serving only 23 days in the army. He was the son of Arthur and Edith of 21, Park Grove, Barnsley. He is commemorated by this memorial which can be seen at Eden Camp Military Museum, Malton, Yorkshire and he is buried at St Sever Cemetery Extension, Rouen, Seine-Maritime, France
