Battalion Bombing Officer. 1901 residing with his parents William Alexander and Louisa, nee Brockman and siblings at 12.1 Killcullen Bridge, Kildare, Ireland. Enlisted 24 March 1910 on the HMS Pembroke I, civilian occupation, plumber. 1911 census. Born 30 June 1888 at Rathdrum, Wicklow. School teacher aged 22 at 3 King’s School Boarding House, Pitt Street, Gloucester City. Died 13 March 1917. At rest Le Fermont Military Cemetery, Riviere, France.
Robert CAMACK. Rifleman 923, 16th Royal Irish Rifles. Husband of Sarah Elizabeth Camack. Born 1879 in Belfast, Ireland, killed in action 21 March 1918 aged 39 years. Commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial, Somme, France.

Edwin Edmund EDMONDS. Able Seaman SS3266 Royal Navy on HMS Otranto. Born 30 June 1891 at Ballywalter, County Down to William and Kate Edmonds, of 214, Roden Street, Belfast. 1901 residing with his parents and siblings at 26 Ballyobegan, Kircubbin, County Down. 1911 serving in the Royal Navy in the Mediterranean aged 19 Killed at sea 6 October 1918 aged 27 years as the result of the sinking of his ship. His father was informed of his death 11 October 1918. Commemorated on the Chatham Naval Memorial, Kent.

Harry HOLLYWOOD. Private 4302, 5th Seaforth Highlanders. Enlisted in Belfast killed in action 29 June 1916. His mother, Mary was granted a war gratuity 17 August 1916 revised 13 August 1919. At rest in Maroeuil British Cemetery, France.

Samuel HOSSICK. Rifleman 5/5353, 6th Royal Irish Rifles. Killed in action 10 March 1918. Maggie McShaw and his father John were both granted a war gratuity 2 August 1918. His father’s gratuity was revised 12 December 1919. At rest in Ramleh War Cemetery, Israel and Palestine including Gaze.

Killed in action 22 November 1917 aged 24 years. His widow was granted a war gratuity 27 May 1918 revised 30 December 1919. Commemorated on the Cambrai Memorial, Louverval, France.
Allister MEARNS. Rifleman 7164, 1st Royal Irish Rifles. Born 1885at Downpatrick, County Down to Alexander and Ellen Mearns, nee Baker, husband of May, nee Braithwaite. Enlisted at Belfast, missing in action, presumed dead 26 October 1914. His widow was granted a war gratuity 15 March 1916 revised 18 September 1919. Commemorated on the Le Touret Memorial, France.
