To the memory of Non Commissioned Officers and Men of No 7 Battery, 1st Brigade, South Irish Division, Royal Artillery who died at Malta A.D. 1882.
This stone is erected by the Officers, N.C. Officers and Men of the Battery as a token of their respect.
Jeptha BRAZIER, Trumper, Royal Artillery, died 18th June 1882, aged 21 years.
John LECKEY, Gunner, South Irish Division, Royal Artillery, died 17th August 1882, aged 30 years
William WELCH, Gunner, South Irish Division, Royal Artillery, died 19th October 1882, aged 27 years
George HOPPER, Gunner, South Irish Division, Royal Artillery, died 2nd November 1882, aged 34 years
