- Ernest James SISEMAN. Born 10th April 1889 in St Leonards, Hastings, Sussex. 14154 Royal Sussex Regiment, 378659 Labour Corps, 18180 Machine Gun Corps. He was the son of James and Ellen who in 1911 were all living at 23, Southwater Road, St Leonards on Sea. He was employed as a bootmaker, repairer. An entry in the St Mary Church Baptisim Register is slightly confusing with the birth and baptisim dates. I take it that he was born on the 9th on the ?? 1889 and baptised on the 10th April 1889. He died 11th January 1970 in Hastings, Sussex aged 80.
