Sarah Mabel GASH

Sarah Mabel GASH. Nurse VAD. Nursing at 1st Western General Hospital, Liverpool from 13 October 1915 to October 1917.

Born 25 August 1878 in Bandon, County Cork, Ireland to Maskelyne Alcock and Mary Elizabeth Gash, nee Hayes. Father’s occupation, gentleman farmer.
October 1914 residing at Hillside, Rosshowlagh, County Donegal, Ireland

Died in The Asylum, St Helens, Merseyside 24 May 1918 aged 39.

A gratuity was granted 25 September 1918 to her brother Richard Maskelyne Gash and The Collectors to the Guardians West Derby Union.

Laid to rest in Walton Park Cemetery, also known as Liverpool Parochial Cemetery, Hornby Lane.
