Marine P065042N Samuel Giles William ALEXANDER MC. 42 Commando Royal Marines. He was killed by an improvised explosive device whilst on patrol in the Loy Mandeh area of the Nad ‘Ali district in Helmand province on the 27th May 2011 along with Lieutenant Oliver Richard AUGUSTIN . He won his Military Cross for valiant action that heavily contributed to saving the life of his Section Commander,
