Warrant Officer 2 (R.Q.M.S.) 5491957, Malaya Training Wing of the Royal Artillery died 4th August 1943 aged 34. Son of Mrs. Alice Mary Russell, of Ryde, Isle of Wight; husband of Dorothy May Russell, of Christchurch, Hants.

Commemorated on a memorial iat the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire and is buried at Kanchanaburi War Cemetery, Thailand
