- Lieutenant Commander Rudolph Henry Edward March Phillipps de LISLE. Royal Navy Born 1859 killed at the battle of Abu Klea on the 17th January 1885 aged 31. Son of Edwin Joseph Lisle March Phillips de Lisle and Agnes Henrietta Ida Nee Hope. He served on HMS Britannia, Shannon, Alexandra his last ship in which he received a horrific death. His whole face cut clean off.
