Rowland John PAFFEY. Petty Officer Stoker, K10862, HMS Usk. Born 20th February 1893 at Bow, London enlisted 18th March 1911 on HMS Pembroke II. Occupation prior to enlistment, plumbers mate. In 1911 he was on shore leave at his parents John and Mary of 10 Florence Road, Plaistow, London, occupation stoker, Royal Navy aged 18 years. Died 1st December 1918 in Royal Naval Hospital Malta of heart failure following pneumonia. His mother, Mary of 33 Helena Road, Plaistow E.13 was informed of his death.
