Extended Description: Robert SAVAGE, Leading Seaman J30724 Royal Navy on HMS Queen Elizabeth. Born 25th December 1898 at Barrow in Furness enlisted 3rd April 1914 on HMS Powerful occupation prior to enlistment working on building sites. Died 28th April 1929 aged 30 years at Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta of hepatitis with ascites (kidney disease) and cardiac failure. His widow was informed of his death 29th April 1929.

At rest in Plot D Grave 577 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta
