Robert PATTERSON. Born 4 May 1895 to Alexander and Annie Patterson, nee Morrison of Murlough, County Down. Died 15 November 1964.

Notes from his army record -
Robert PATTERSON of Shrigley Mills, Killyleagh, County Down. Joined the 16th Royal Irish Rifles aged 20 as Private 891 at Lurgan County Armagh 1 March 1915. His next of kin was his father Alexander of the same address. He embarked from Southampton 2 October 1915, disembarking France the following day. 16 March 1919 he was posted from France to Oswestry for demobilisation. He was then sent to No 2 Dispersal Unit, Prees Heath Camp, near Whitchurch, Shropshire.
